Amie & Jolie Sikes
AMIE and JOLIE SIKES are co-founders of Junk Gypsy. In 1998, the Texas sisters and their mom, Janie, started The JUNK GYPSY Company with a dream, love of the open road and a slight flea market addiction. Staying true to their core values, the Sikes family has built a successful business that beckons to the free spirit and dreamer in everyone. In addition to designing, creating and building merchandise- everything from apparel to jewelry to custom furniture- the family hosts events like the bi-annual Texas cow pasture tradition JUNK-o-RAMA Prom. They’re often called upon to create and transform spaces for country music artists and Hollywood stars. Projects include Miranda Lambert’s tour bus, wedding reception and developing her signature logo, Airstream trailers for Dierks Bentley and Billie Joe Armstrong, Sadie Robertson’s Sweet Sixteen party and many other events ranging from backstage lounges to stage couture. The JUNK GYPSY Company now includes a hit television series on Great American Country and HGTV, including specials like “Endless Yard Sale” and “Garage Sale Wars” on HGTV. Most recent projects include an exclusive line for Pottery Barn Teen, an exclusively JG designed boot line with Lane and a book released fall 2016. @junkgypsy
