Amy Cuddy
AMY CUDDY is a social psychologist, best-selling author, and award-winning teacher. She is an expert on the behavioral science of power, presence, and prejudice. Her book Presence: Bringing Your Boldest Self to Your Biggest Challenges, is a New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publisher’s Weekly, and Globe & Mail best-seller and has been published in thirty-five languages, with over half a million copies sold. Her 2012 TED Talk, “Your Body Language May Shape Who You Are,” named by The Guardian as ‘One of 20 Online Talks that Could Change Your Life’, is the third-most-viewed TED talk. Additionally, she has written for the New York Times, New York Magazine, Harvard Business Review, and CNN. She is also co-founder of Citizen Confidence, a world economic forum initiative of young global leaders seeking to develop new measures of societal success that speak to an understanding of humans as more than just passive consumers.
