Anne Arvia

ANNE ARVIA is senior vice president of primary banking for USAA Federal Savings Bank. She joined USAA in August 2015 and currently leads the bank’s primary banking business as part of an innovative vision to organize and manage completely around the customer experience. Arvia joined USAA after more than 25 years in the financial services industry. Most recently, she was president of a portfolio of businesses within Nationwide that were charged with leaning into the future in the insurance space. Prior to this role she was president of retirement plans for Nationwide and led a strategic shift in this $88 billion assets under management business in both the private and public sectors portfolios. She started her career at Nationwide as president and CEO of Nationwide Bank, a de novo direct bank within the larger enterprise. Prior to joining Nationwide, Arvia spent 15 years at ShoreBank, where she progressed through the accounting ranks to president and CEO of the Bank. She has been actively involved with numerous boards and currently sits on the public company board of GATX, Inc and is chair of their audit committee as well as a number of non-profit boards, including the YWCA of Columbus. Arvia graduated with a B.S. in accounting from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. @usaa
