Brenda Dennis
Brenda Dennis is currently senior director of Worldwide sales strategy and transformation with Cisco Systems, where she is responsible for sales growth and acceleration strategies. As a member of both the Enterprise and Service Provider Operating Committees, she helps to set strategy and marshal the collective resources of the company to deliver a transformational customer experience. In her previous role as global sales director, she led a sales and engineering organization of more than 130 people, with revenue responsibility in excess of $.6 billion. Before joining Cisco, Dennis spent eight years at Sprint Communications in sales leadership and was Sprint’s nomination for Fortune magazine’s “Hot Shots Under 30 in Telecommunications.” With a passion around developing people, creating inclusive work environments and giving back to the community, Dennis is an executive sponsor for the Cisco Empowered Women’s Network (CWEN) and a sought after speaker. She actively gives back to the community, serves on the boards of the Alice Paul Institute and has been board chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters N.J. for the past three years. She is also co-founder of the Hainesport Soccer Club. Dennis earned an M.B.A. from Marymount University, a B.A. in international business from Oregon State University and studied at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. @brendagdennis @cisco
