Chris Hurst

CHRIS HURST is vice president, global service provider, strategy and planning for Cisco Systems. As the leader of strategy and planning, he holds a COO-style role, helping to plan and run Cisco’s Global Service Provider business. He offers extensive experience in planning, acquisition due diligence, integration, leadership development and establishing tools and processes to run and grow the business. Hurst has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, backed by a strong record of building high performance teams and developing markets across a range of products and services. He spent 15 of those years leading global teams, and has been responsible for P&Ls for most of his career. Before joining Cisco, Hurst held key leadership positions at Thomas Weisel Venture Partners, Juniper Networks and Sun Microsystems. Hurst earned a B.S. and B.A. in finance from the University of Tulsa. @cisco
