Courtney Skarda

COURTNEY SKARDA is vice president of Racker experience with Rackspace. She is responsible for reinforcing our core values and continuing to build Rackspace into one of the best places to work in the world.  As a native San Antonian, she joined Rackspace in 2006 and has embodied servant leadership ever since.  Through her various leadership roles, she’s hired, coached and positively influenced thousands of employees (whom Rackspace calls Rackers). Her Rackspace experience includes lead qualifying (Q-Team) founder and manager, director of SMB sales, vice president of online sales and marketing, and most recently, interim CMO. Skarda has helped grow the company’s customer base from 12,000 in 2006 to over 190,000 today. Prior to Rackspace, Skarda worked at Dell managing online and relationship sales. She graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a B.A. in communication and currently lives in San Antonio with her two children.   @rackspace
