Jason Stevens
Registered and licensed dietitian Jason Stevens is driven to help cancer patients stay as nourished and strong as possible throughout their entire journey at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center (Southwestern). In his role at Southwestern, Stevens educates new patients about how to use nutrition to help their bodies stay strong throughout their fight against cancer. He works with patients to develop personalized nutrition goals and teaches those who are receiving treatment how to use nutrition to deal with side effects, and also helps patients who have been admitted as inpatients optimize their nutrition status. Stevens believes people who come to CTCA for cancer treatment also immediately discover what sets it apart from most hospitals and cancer centers. Stevens enjoys staying active in the community. He has been involved in volunteer work with people with chronic diseases and children with disabilities. Stevens earned a Master of Arts in dietetics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, where he was a member of the Alpha Eta Society (an honor society for allied health professions) and the Student Dietetic Association. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
