Judy Maggio

JUDY MAGGIO is a respected journalist, media consultant, moderator and public speaker. She’s a veteran broadcaster who spent 32 years anchoring and reporting the news in Austin. Her entire career took place in the city she loves as it grew from a sleepy college town to a mecca for music and technology. Maggio has won multiple reporting and media awards and was voted Best Newscaster in Austin by Austin Chronicle readers for 10 years in a row. In 2014, she was named Trailblazer of the Year by the Alliance for Women in Media. She is currently leading the Engage Breakfast program for Leadership Austin, moderating panel discussions with key community leaders, and is directing a documentary that will air on Austin television stations and in local theaters. @judymaggiotv
