Kimberly O’Connor

KIMBERLY O’CONNOR is the director of human capital management applications with Oracle. With over 25 years of HR experience, O’Connor has continuously focused on efforts to help human resources organizations better leverage HR technology, now including social to meet business goals. Working at Oracle Corporation for the past 18 years, she has helped HR organizations maximize their value through process automation, social and mobile technology and analytics. For the first five years she served in a pre-sales consulting role conducting customer needs analysis and recommending HCM technology to transform HCM organizations. Before joining Oracle, O’Connor spent six years at Compaq Computer Corporation as a recruiter hiring technical to managerial positions the old fashioned way – career fairs, job ads and email.  O’Connor is based in Dallas-Fort Worth where she is engaged in community service to help non-profit organizations with talent initiatives.  As a job search coach, she delights in helping others build a strong resume, develop their personal brand and leverage social media to connect with talent seekers.  She has been awarded a SPHR certification, and her educational background includes a B.S. in mathematics and an M.S. in human resources management. @oracle
