NORMA DORST is an executive with nearly 30 years of experience at NI, now a part of Emerson. She leads the global marketing team serving all industries, products, and regions. She graduated with a BSEE from UT Austin and started as an applications engineer before discovering her passion for marketing strategy and leading people. Her experience includes corporate strategy, brand, market research, talent management, digital and web strategy, product marketing, field and regional marketing, and communications. Dorst is also NI’s co-executive sponsor for the AAPI employee resource group in Austin. She has lived in Austin for decades, but enjoys traveling and experiencing diverse cultures and perspectives whenever she can.
