Perry Ann Reed is a recognized expert on leadership in the not-for-profit, community service sector and on building strategic linkages between this sector and its’ commercial counterpart. Currently, she is the senior vice president for Nonprofit Effectiveness at the consultancy Quinn Reed Associates while also serving as the 2011-12 president of the Junior League of Houston, Inc. In these roles, her objectives incorporate organizational development, project management, modernizing technology, client relationship management, talent management, process improvement, community service, and formulating and executing business strategy. She received the 2011 Community Angel award for leadership in serving others from Houston Woman Magazine She attended Baylor University, graduated from Texas A&M University and began her career as a teacher in Katy I.S.D. She later graduated from the Directors’ Consortium, a program training board directors in their most current fiduciary, legal and ethical responsibilities. The Consortium is a joint product of Stanford Business School, Stanford Law School, the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the University of Chicago Business School. Additionally, she is an alumnae of the Center for Houston’s Future Business Leadership Forum.
