Sara Bloom is the founder and chief designer of Oliver B, a modern day baby bedding and accessories company.  Only a few years ago, Bloom was practicing law as a corporate attorney representing Fortune 500 companies in mergers and acquisitions at one of the world’s largest law firms.  As a busy attorney and first-time expectant mother, she saw an opportunity to address the real threat of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) by creating an alternative crib bumper not previously offered on the market. Today, she runs Oliver B, a fast-growing company whose products are sold by many of the nation’s largest retailers. Oliver B’s patent pending “Ventilated Slat Bumper” has been featured in national magazines such as em>Babytalk, Pregnancy and BabyMaternity and in 2010 was awarded a “Seal of Approval” by The National Parenting Center.
