Stacy Dukes-Rhone has maintained her distinguished professional career over the last 25 years in the arenas of executive leadership, entrepreneurship, engineering, public administration and community service. As an executive, Dukes-Rhone has spent the past 3 years as executive director of Business Investment Growth (BIG), where she has succeeded in securing a number of new grants, and gained national recognition. Previously Dukes-Rhone served for over 10 years as president of Grier Bankett Consulting, Inc and Airport Business Centers. Dukes-Rhone started Airport Business and Technology Centers as well as two consulting firms. As an engineer, Dukes-Rhone was the first African American female hired into the Highway design and Contraction division of the Texas Department of Transportation. Dukes-Rhone also serves in a wide range of volunteer and consulting capacities in the community, including the founding out BIG YES! (Business Investment Growth Youth Entrepreneur Start-Up Program). Dukes-Rhone is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she earned a B.S. in economics and also holds an M.S. from the University of Texas at Austin School of Engineering.
